Why I work for Seismic:
Seismic’s work is centred around a purpose-driven commitment to creating meaningful change for both people and the planet through business. This mission is not only motivating but deeply important, and it aligns perfectly with my passion for addressing climate change. The opportunity to advance this mission alongside a team of like-minded individuals is what inspired me to join Seismic.
My experience:
I hold an MSc in Climate Change from King’s College London, where I completed a dissertation on the impacts of climate change on menstrual health. My main professional experience spans two sustainability-focused roles. At a property firm, I led the completion of their B Corp impact assessment and enhanced sustainability initiatives through research and communications. In another role within finance, I authored an annual sustainability report and supported research on regulatory compliance and sustainability commitments.
Some companies I’ve worked with:
Property Vision, MV Credit, Bridge Partnership, Foundation for Uyghur Freedom
A seismic change I’d like to see in the future:
I believe climate change should be understood in a more nuanced way, with greater awareness of its connections to areas like gender equality, human rights and social issues. My ultimate goal is to see these intersections integrated into business strategies, ensuring sustainability and climate action are approached holistically.
Where I like to be:
After backpacking through Central and South America in 2023, I’ve caught the travel bug and love exploring the world whenever I can! In London, I enjoy discovering the best food spots, spending time with friends and family, and embracing my creative side by going to the theatre and attending gigs.
