About
Join the Music Climate Pact and Seismic to navigate new EU sustainability rules and learn how to champion your sustainability initiatives with confidence.
All organisations manufacturing or selling products in the EU, including the recorded music industry, are facing a wave of new sustainability regulations, including the ECGT (Empowering Consumers for the Green Transition) directive. Coming into effect this September, this legislation targets greenwashing by banning vague environmental claims and uncertified sustainability labels.
To navigate these changes together, Music Climate Pact is hosting an industry-wide webinar in partnership with sustainability experts, Seismic. Our goal is to support the sector and align on how we can confidently communicate our environmental initiatives. Rather than stepping back from green communications out of fear of regulation or backlash, this session will focus on how to best leverage your positive impact and deliver authentic communication.
Who should attend: While this will be of interest to all those making and selling products (specifically product, communication and legal teams) across the music industry, this session is specifically designed for the recorded music value chain, including manufacturers, record labels, and retailers across our trade association networks. All in the music industry and those connected are welcome.
When: 9 September at 4:00-5:00 p.m (BST)
