Native Residential needed a sustainability expert to help them formulate their long-term vision and strategy. They sought help to engage their key stakeholders, and walk them through actions they could take to improve their social and environmental impact. Native Residential also wanted to achieve B Corp Certification, and their ultimate goal of being the ESG Gold Standard for their industry.

An expert partner helping to improve performance, every step of the way
Native Residential’s leadership team took part in an ESG ambition workshop with Seismic in November 2022. During this workshop, Seismic helped Native Residential to identify both their long-term vision for the business’s social and environmental impact and the key internal and external stakeholders impacted by the organization.
Guided by Seismic, Native Residential has completed a Materiality Assessment to engage the voices of employees and asset owners through surveys and interviews. The outcome was the identification of which ESG risks and opportunities were most relevant for the business.

From vision-setting to carbon reduction, Native Residential are making huge strides
The business is using the B Corp framework to establish its baseline ESG performance. From there it’s implementing a plan to improve its impact, and keep working towards its goal of certifying as a B Corp. The ESG strategy will be informed by internal and external stakeholders’ views on which ESG issues are most material to Native Residential.
As part of its journey, the business is also in the process of completing a full Scope 1-3 carbon footprint in line with the GHG protocol, to understand the current impact and inform a reduction pathway to reduce its carbon impact moving forward.
