EcoVadis Assessment
Customers and investors expect more than commitments; they expect proof of progress. EcoVadis provides the framework. Seismic helps turn it into measurable results.
Manage risk, drive decarbonisation and transform supply chains
EcoVadis scores influence reputation, investment decisions and access to global supply chains. Strong results are a marker of resilience and trust.
Progress takes more than completing an assessment. It requires focus, supplier engagement and ambition. Seismic’s EcoVadis-aligned programmes turn data into action, reduce risk exposure and position companies to capture new opportunities in sustainable sourcing and procurement.
Seismic achieved a Silver EcoVadis accreditation.

Approach
Turning complexity into clarity
Success starts with clear goals, whether improving an existing score or preparing for a first assessment.
Our process combines readiness reviews, documentation mapping and supplier action planning to translate EcoVadis expectations into achievable milestones. By embedding these steps into procurement and supply chain systems, businesses can accelerate decarbonisation, strengthen resilience and deliver lasting commercial and sustainability outcomes.

What does the EcoVadis assessment cover?
EcoVadis evaluates how effectively a company embeds sustainability into its operations across four key themes: Environment, Labour & Human Rights, Ethics and Sustainable Procurement. Each theme is assessed through three management pillars, policies, actions and results, which together show not just what commitments exist, but how they are implemented and measured in practice.
How long does the EcoVadis journey take?
Timelines vary depending on company size, data availability and internal coordination. Most organisations prepare and submit their first assessment within 6–10 weeks.
What is a “good” EcoVadis score?
EcoVadis awards medals based on a company’s percentile ranking across all organisations assessed in the past 12 months. A Silver medal typically represents the top 15–25% of companies, while Gold and Platinum are reserved for the highest performers with mature sustainability management systems.
Although rankings are calculated across all industries, the platform also allows you to benchmark your results against peers in your sector, giving valuable insight into where your sustainability performance leads or lags compared with similar businesses.
How do I choose the right scope for assessment?
The scope refers to the legal entity or entities of the company that will be undergoing an EcoVadis assessment. The three possible assessment scopes are:
- Group
- Entity
- Site
All companies engaged in an EcoVadis assessment will only be classified according to the three above scopes.
