Talent Acquisition Executive
Seismic was born out of a collective view that we need a Seismic shift to help change society and fix our planet.
We believe that the business community has a huge opportunity and responsibility to help make that happen. We have the vision to help 10 million people join the shift.
What we’re looking for
A Talent Acquisition Executive with experience hiring great people across multiple disciplines.
The role and responsibilities
The exact role definition will be dependent on the desire, capability and experiences of the right person. Key responsibilities are likely to include:
- Taking ownership for our entire recruitment process from sourcing candidates up to and including candidate offer and rejection management. You will report to the COO.
- Managing all recruitment channels including Seismic careers page, external jobs boards, social media platforms, professional networks, educational networks and internal referrals. You may sometimes work with external recruiters on specialist roles.
- Initial screening of CVs to provide shortlists of candidates to the relevant hiring managers.
- When required, conducting initial screening interviews of candidates to ensure only relevant candidates are forwarded to the hiring manager.
- Liaising regularly with the Seismic leadership team to stay up to date with all current and future recruitment requirements.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders and hiring managers to arrange candidate interviews.
- Advising on recruitment best practice where appropriate.
- Owning the recruiting software (Ashby) and making best use of data analytics.
About you
You believe that humanity and businesses need to make a seismic shift in the right direction and want to apply your consulting and analytical capabilities to help make that happen. At the same time you want to work in a friendly, collaborative and empathetic team who are delivering impactful projects for high-profile clients.
To be successful in this role you would need the following attributes:
- Previous experience of managing the full end-to-end recruitment process, preferably in a fast-paced and growing business.
- The ambition to take ownership of an important business function.
- The confidence to identify problems and suggest solutions and constantly improve ways of working.
- Up to date knowledge of a wide range of resourcing tools and use of social media for recruitment. Previous use of Ashby is a plus.
- Experience of interviewing candidates to provide a relevant shortlist to hiring stakeholders.
- An understanding of DEI and how this interacts with recruitment.
- Experience of designing and delivering tailored recruitment solutions to support different business areas.
- Experience of a recruitment agency environment directly sourcing candidates would be ideal but not essential.
- Ideally you will also have worked in a professional services environment and have a strong interest in sustainability.
Importantly, you love client work and also working with teammates to iterate products and services. You are a team player – you like a laugh, but are not afraid to graft.
You are action oriented, have a keen eye for detail and enjoy juggling multiple priorities and enjoy just the right amount of time pressure to help keep productive and focused. You are a ‘people person’ with a knack for building relationships with a diverse group of people.
You are more excited by the opportunities of working for a young, fast growing, ever evolving, purpose-driven business than for a large corporate.
Location
Ideally you will be within commuting distance of our London office.
Working hours
We believe in flexible working hours to better suit our personal lives while being considerate of each other. We generally work office hours but trust each other to make fair decisions.
