Experience

Ciaran is a Carbon Consultant at Seismic, specialising in Net Zero and Transition Strategy. With deep technical expertise in greenhouse gas (GHG) accounting and climate target setting, he has guided over 50 organisations on their climate journeys.
Prior to joining Seismic, Ciaran spent three years at South Pole, where he advised large multinationals on climate strategy. Before that, he spent a brief period working on nature and biodiversity at a specialist environmental economics consultancy, advising companies on environmental valuation and the early iterations of the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD).
Ciaran holds a BSc in Biology from Durham University and an MSc in Ecological Economics from the University of Edinburgh.
