Why I work for Seismic:

I want to be part of something bigger, challenging those at the top and businesses alike to drive meaningful change. And to do so, surrounded by courageous individuals with a shared vision of the future.

My experience:

I have joined Seismic from my role as Impact and Sustainability Manager at Marshfield Farm Ice Cream, where (along with eating a lot of ice cream), I led the company through its B Corp certification and onward sustainability journey. Prior to this, I began my pursuit of a purpose-led career in the non-profit sector, focused on youth development in rural communities in Fiji and building programmes to support refugees and marginalised communities in the North East.

Some companies I’ve worked with:

North East Solidarity and Teaching, Newcastle United Foundation, Marshfield Farm Ice Cream

A seismic change I’d like to see in the future:

A world where sustainability is recognised as an integral part of business strategy and embedded within as the norm. With this drive for change fuelled by a desire to be part of the bigger picture and critical for growth, rather than legislation and consumer preference.

Where I like to be:

Anywhere surrounded by good company and good food! I have recently returned from living and working remotely in Mexico and am on a mission to introduce spice to my friends and family.
